Since I was a child, I picked up the olives with my little basket; knelt under the ancient olive trees I observed my grandparents, who knocked down the olives and cuddled the trees: seeing them I learned to do it too. Now many years later, with the help of my son, I still do it. We recover also deserted olive groves, put them again in production, and make a good oil, only with the valued Taggiasca variety.
